Вывод
В результате проведённого анализа, спасательные средства используются художниками для рефлексии на остросоциальные темы, важные для современного общества. Основной фокус в данных работах сосредоточен на проблематике миграционного кризиса, в частности, на трагических последствиях попыток людей обрести безопасность. Концепт вынужденной миграции и трагизм судеб беженцев занимают в этих работах особое место. Также художники обращаются к теме коллективной безопасности, акцентируя внимание на том, что право на неприкосновенность жизни и здоровья доступно не всем.
Ай Вэйвэй, «Восходящее солнце», 2017
Навигационные средства имеют более широкое концептуальное применение. Художники чаще склонны рефлектировать на более личные темы, внутренние переживания. Они, в частности, используют такой художественный приём, как инверсия, для демонстрации эмоционального состояния человека, ассоциируя его с буем. Используя этот утилитарный объект авторы затрагивают также связь человека с природой, экологические кризисы, катастрофы и их влияние на окружающую среду. Также навигационные средства, в частности маяки, используются для поиска ориентиров, как в жизни человека, так и для того, чтобы направить внимание зрителя и сориентировать его.

В ходе исследования прослеживаются следующие художественные приёмы: трансформация функционального предмета, а именно масштабирование, деформация и переосмысление формы, материальные и фактурные контрасты как способ подчеркнуть шаткое или переходное состояние, сочетание искусственных материалов с природными, работа с цветом — использование палитры, характерной для навигационных и спасательных средств, контрастные комбинации.
Проанализированные концептуальные смыслы, заложенные художниками в работах, и выявленные художественные приёмы, становятся основой для дипломной коллекции.
