This concept project has been carried out for educational, non-profit purposes. The project is an interpretation of the existing domino set, sponsored by Inna Veselova and Lilya Matvievskaya.
The original domino design used toys from Vadim Nazarov’s private collection.
More information on the original set can be found on the official website
Dimensions of object: 150×150 mm
The updated concept of a domino set is based on the ornaments of a Russian clay toy. Each item is decorated with a pattern that reflects the motives of popular painting.
The kit includes 28 cardboard chips and a booklet describing ornaments.
There are two versions of the game: classic and color. In the classical version, there are halves of chips with the same ornaments, and in the color game with similar colors.
The classic game has the same ornaments. A new chip can be added from any of the free edges.
In a color game, players connect the chips to the same color. This option is faster and easier to play.
The project was set up in partnership with the Prague project, whose authors are grateful for the material provided.
