A series of illustrations is devoted to the study of the almond body — the amigdals. This part of the brain plays a key role in regulating emotional processes, such as fear, anxiety and aggression. This protective unit is a stress centre and creates an emotional response. The draft reflects the principles of the Amigdal, its characteristics, obsessive thoughts and ways of dealing with stress and anxiety.

«Obsessive Thoughts»
I often catch myself thinking about how my normal day turns into a field of battle — anxiety about a future conversation or a sudden panic attack from subway noise become obsessive satellites. At these moments, it seems like I’m gonna be gone pretty soon, and I’m trying to convey that feeling through images in illustrations.
Sound and Fear
«What Fears Feel Stronger at Night»
I am particularly familiar with the darkness that makes shadows into monsters at night, and the normal and everyday sounds, whether clock ticking or wind noise, become stunning. In these hours, I can feel something inside me beating alarms for the slightest reason, drawing threats where they don’t exist.

Music and Goosebumps
When the alarm is tight on my chest, I turn on the instrumental tune — familiar notes softly calm my disturbed brain. These sounds became my anchor, my quiet harbour, where the gut finally stops screaming over the dangers that don’t exist.
