MUSIC IDENTICS OF THE KINGDOM
The lace museum in Vologda is the main exhibition dedicated to the establishment and development of traditional artistic production of Vlogodchina and world trends in circulatory development. The objectives of the Identifier ' s work were to develop a visual style that will speak the modern language and attract a new audience, while preserving the traditional and historical value of lace, and to enhance the recognition of the museum as a centre for the preservation and promotion of the cultural heritage of the region.
The logo is designed as a system in which letters operate, like strings, it can be used as a stand-alone sign or become part of the ornament.
Printing is used as an ornamental living structure — its rhythm and modularity form a visual pattern that resembles lace braiding.
We’re not just keeping the tradition, we’re rethinking it. The lace in the museum is not an exhibit, but a conversation about the culture, the shape and the time we live in.
