Kaliningrad is a small but very interesting area of Russia with a rich history and an unusual atmosphere. My illustrated calendar focuses on four cities in the Kaliningrad region: Svetlogorsk, Zelengradsk, Sulska, and Kaliningrad. A slightly naive style of performance was designed to convey a special comfort to this corner of Russia. Each season is dedicated to significant places, vivid images, and legends associated with these four cities.
Kaliningrad is a living and noisy city with a port, a magnificent cathedral of Immanuel Kant, legends about homlins, and riddles about seven bridges.

Svetlogorsk is a quiet and peaceful town, laid in the shadow of its pine. You can find magic characters from Goffman’s fairy tales, listen to organ music, and enjoy a rope road trip.

The Soviet is a border town far away from the sea. It’s soaked in the spirit of the Middle Ages, in the ruins of the castles, it’s like the stories of the knights come to life. And the tram monument reminds me of the later history of the city.

Zelenogradsk is a city with people’s waterfronts, cute cats and incredibly beautiful amber.
