The roof above the head is a large-scale installation, a metal roof suspended inside the gallery, and has been specially designed for the «Interple Pure» exhibition.
The view of a «roof over the head» refers a person to the notion of «home», the sense of physical comfort and the reliability that he creates. However, when you think of the phrase «jumping above the roof,» the object begins to be associated with both physical and psychological constraints.

This work speaks of the duality of the things around us, the ephemerality of human self — esteem, how what is valuable and what is certain can be a limitation to them.

Roof over the head, Interplete exhibition at the Electric Plant Gallery
The «Inter-Provts» exhibition, which was sponsored by Lisa Mukasei, took place from June 17 to June 22, 2024, in the area of the Electric Plant Gallery.
«The InterProves exhibition focuses on borders, both internal and external, as well as on their crossing points. One cannot exist without the other: the obstacles to the real world brighten our personal boundaries, while they form the outer ones. The framework always creates some space, with one side depriving a person of his freedom, and with another, saving him from the horror of unknowns, gives him chaos and order. By limiting himself to one thing, he saves himself from something more dangerous.»
