An audio escort to the exhibition «360 and 5» to be held in May 2025 at the Bomba Gallery. It is based on field records and found sounds from the Bowman area.
These audio fragments — human steps, hum, mechanical noise — are losing their original link to reality, moving underground, becoming muffled, distorted, and as if frozen in time.
The exhibition:
The 360-degree circle and measurement system have long served as tools for structuring concepts, ranging from calendars to geometry, but the annual cycle does not fit into this exact pattern, leaving «over» five days. These extra days, at first glance, seem small, are in fact key to the sustainability of the entire system. The 360 and 5 exhibit explores these gaps and imperfections. The underground space reflects the hidden but fundamental elements of these five days — those parts of the system that slip away from a direct look and ensure its stability.
