Zin «Guest» is a dialogue with a void. The medium through which the dialogue takes place is the work of artist Oleg Hunger.

Metaphor zina: sides of the light, orientation in space. Each chapter is tied to the side of the light. Four chapters, four sides of the world, four points of support.

Zin doesn’t have a fastening, twists connect by accident. There’s always a story to tell. The reader is asked to draw up his journey by intuitively connecting turns.
Chapter «Guest». Printed on a calculator. The artist’s reflexion about the place. A slippery sense of presence. Each passage of the text is also tied to the sides of the light.
Chapter «Catalogue». Trying to decode photos of chairs, cataloguing them.
Typical turns. A feeling of an incredible catalog with a moving grid and a large print, asymmetrical fields.
Head of Environment. My reflex is about the visual environment, where most of the photos are taken from the area. Most of the communication in this environment is based on consuming/selling something. Simulation.
Chapter «Place». Photos of the artist (taken on film and on various cameras). All the footage is mixed and it’s the only chapter that has a non-fixed format. Honesty to the shot.
Every shot can be pulled out of the zin and hung on the wall.
Photos are taken in places that are very difficult to get into. These places are far from the usual route. Only the intuition and sense of space is the beacon that will allow you to return.
