
Project Design Tourism. Style Petersburg» was launched by the St. Petersburg Foundation in cooperation with the Tourism Development Committee and the City Tourism Information Centre. Its objective is to create a unique tourism product that will bring together urban events and sites related to design and crafts and attract tourists to new directions and creative experiences in St. Petersburg.
LOGOTIA

The logo is based on the image of a stylized winged lion with a ball under his foot, the traditional and recognized symbol of St. Petersburg. This choice reflects «peterburgerism» and forms a strong association with the city, highlighting its historical and cultural heritage.
INTERNAL OBJECTIVES

To attract a broad audience of tourists, an illustrative style has been chosen that makes the visual image of the project friendly, live and remembered. The design is based on the recognized architectural silhouettes of St. Petersburg, historic buildings and monuments, which immediately cause associations with the city and its unique atmosphere to highlight the creative nature of the project and the connection with design, the town is supplemented by illustrations of artistic materials — brushes, pencils, liners, and other instruments that replace trees and elements of the urban environment. This creates an image of a «cities of creativity» where architecture is harmoniously combined with symbols of crafts and design.
