Author’s interior ceramics by Gyuzel Tikhomirova, Ecru Home brand.

Style — biomorphic abstraction. Technique — hand molding. The source of inspiration for creation of works are natural forms, smooth lines and sensuality. The mission is to convey the beauty and harmony of laconic forms through tactile sensations.

«Song about Baikal» is a series of author’s interior ceramics.

Stones/vases that visually and tactilely resemble pebbles. There are 9 stones/vases of different shapes, sizes and colors in the series. For minimalist compositions of branches or flowers. Stones can be stacked on top of each other to create pyramids. Do you remember playing with pebbles on the seashore as a child?

The series symbolizes my second small homeland. I lived on Baikal for several years, and my memories are embodied in this series. Baikal is a real spiritualized artist. His creation — stones on the shore, colorful, smooth, tenderly polished, infused with sunlight, love and energy of Baikal. You want to admire and touch them endlessly. In each of the pebbles you can feel the breath of Baikal and hear a song about it.

There are a total of 9 stones in the «Song of Baikal» series. Each stone differs in shape, size, shade. All stones visually and tactilely resemble pebbles. The hole for the flower is triangular in shape, small in size, located in the upper part of the stone. Materials: clay, fireclay, glazes. Technique: hand molding.
