growing up is almost always an unconscious process that even like process not is taken up by — we can only post facto capture changes, turning events, but never feel them importance in moment

The album’s leitmotif for us was the feeling that suddenly comes to every teenager: «That’s it, the fun is over,» followed by a subsequent reflection, along with the first episodes of serious, adult nostalgia for hard drives, Bionicles, the satiated 2000s, Frutiger Aero, and Nintendo Wii…

For our carefree youth, gone forever, leaving behind only fragments and echoes of simple childhood happiness, images of which remain forever in the hearts of first-wave Zoomers

Here we draw a line between the past and the present, acknowledge the important, irreversible changes of the past years that have shaped us, and chronicle the changes we’ve experienced

Inspired by the endless oscillations between the nightlife of the city center and the quiet nights of the suburbs, we talk to ourselves from the past, smile, yearn, and endlessly delve into our carefree youth, seeking answers to questions we never dared to ask ourselves

Technically, we remained true to the overtly tape-based sound, deciding that the release format allowed us to fully develop the concept and release the album on cassette

Two editions were created:

«Classic» —

• a random old cassette with our album recorded over the original recording with two bonus tracks • a DIY slipcase made from the reinforced pages of an old bound book

and «Deluxe»* —

A signature zine with autographs and photos from the band’s archives • a random old cassette with our album recorded over the original recording with three bonus tracks • a DIY slipcase made from the reinforced pages of an old bound book

* — The Deluxe edition is available in 8 numbered sets

The entire album can be perceived as a week in the life of the album’s lyrical hero, who is experiencing the gradual «death» of his beloved synthesizer — where the blessings of new technology, the ability to digitize it, preserving it forever on a computer hard drive, and paradoxical thoughts like «will my synthesizer be itself if it loses its iron soul and battered chrome body?» are interspersed with a difficult rethinking of his short life, with what seemed important to him then, what seems urgent now, and what of this even matters on the dance floor of his favorite Friday club?
