Step 1 Selection of topic

The student selects the project theme for the next calendar year as part of the options offered by the teacher. The choice of a topic should be based on one’s own interests, so that it would be interesting to come up with ideas, to select content, and so on.

Phase 2 Logline and synopsis

The student learns the basics of writing, the concepts of logline, synopsis, genre. Logline is a short intrigued description of the future film, the video, the books. Synopsis is a short description of a story with major characters, conflicts, and turning points. For the selected topic, the student writes several versions of the loglines and synopses.

Step 3 Selection of visual language

For the selected theme of the project, the student develops several versions of the mudboards (minimum 3) that illustrate the approach to the topic, the general mood of the book and the main visual aids and techniques.

Scenario 4.1

The student goes into the subject, studies the material from different sources, forms the content of the book, writes and edits the text, develops the structure of the presentation: headings, main text, additions, infographics, quotations, etc. The text should be divided into a sequence of slides.

Step 4.2. Research

On the basis of the scenario, the student is developing a first reading. Its essence is to show the composite solutions of all slides, their consistent development and the pace of the book. Also at this stage, we need to think about the animation on each slide and the overall cross-sectional dynamics of the book.

Step 4.3 Key concepts

By selecting the main stylistic direction with the help of hoodboards, the student designs several key slides of books. The concepts should show the composition, graphics, font selection and printing techniques to be used in the final slides of the book.

Steps 4.1, 4.2, 4.3 may run in parallel. The writing of the text, the selection of illustrative content, the refinement of visual techniques, the development of the overall rhythm and the dynamics of the book are inextricably linked.

Phase 5 Creation of slides

All book slides are created on the basis of key concepts, finished text and graphics.

Step 6 Animation

Create animation on slides where traffic is planned. Animation of the modet was created in Adobe After Effects and built as gif files into a book. Or the engine on the platform.

Step 7 Collection of the book on the platform

Ready slides and animations the student downloads to the platform to create a multimedia book on the school’s website.

Phase 8 Development of the programme of work

In addition to the book, the student creates a short (20–30 seconds) promo-rolic, which can serve as a teeser for the project. The video should use the same techniques and visual solutions as the book.

Phase 9 Production package

The student is also developing a package of promotional and promotional products. It’s worth thinking about the hosts that are suitable for the project, and it’s not mechanical to replicate the slides of books into different media.

Step 10 Presentation

At the end of the project, the student collects a presentation on the student portfolio and a new portfolio for the examination. The presentation should be neatly organized, texts without errors and correct tags.
