It’s a project about Peter Pen in the design world, about how to re-create household things, and about strange practicality.
«It’s a great pleasure to do things out of nothing, to make things out of uninteresting things.» Dominic Wilcox
Longrid is Dominic Wilcox’s notebook, rethought in digital format. Paper bend lines are a modular grid, where printing is strictly grid-based and graphics are strictly non-net-based.

I on the inventor, his philosophy
The large amount of air and the absence of photographs transmits the introvertity of the inventor, so only a small graphic figure of the «green man» travelling across the Longrid is visible.

II reflections on normal
How can Wilcox’s inventions be imagined by another person, and can they even?
This is the research part of the Longrid, and I asked the guys to draw some of Dominic’s inventions the way they represent them in their head. (It was important not to think for long, to draw the first thing that came to mind) 40 sheets of drawings were collected, which formed the basis. drawing archive

This is where all the participants in the experiment are gathered, and there’s a link to the archive of all the drawings about normality.
