The abundance of publications in news channels shapes the blindness of minor posts, which sometimes appear to be shaded in a series of «significant» external infolinks. We see them as small and they’re lost in the current news stream. In this project, I focused on photographs attached to such news and drew from them fragments of the transitional spaces in which the events took place: entrances, corridors and crossing points. In so doing, she tried to give them weight that they had not gained, slipping away from our attention, as did transit areas that seemed insignificant.
Each work in the series shows one of these entropy spaces. The compositions are collected from materials extracted from transit areas, such as profiled floors, metal planes, and textiles, introduced as integrated tangible forms that help to shape the recognition mechanism. The work is an attempt to show the topology of the material forms that have been removed from the visual language of urban everydayity.
