This redesign is inspired by my game -obsessed, brain. In this I imagined, what if they have their own elements and skills, and have their own splash art in a a shape of a card. The card border is decorated by their respective element and a crystal on the top, middle of the border. And each character has their own color. The design style is inspired by illustrations from a mobile game that I played, which is «AFK Arena».
Sirin
Sky Conqueror
The element that I chose for Sirin is Air. For the skill, she can release a tornado and scratch things with her talon.
She is adorned with a blue shawl and her body is that of an owl. The gesture looks as if she’s controlling the air. The background shows that she’s high up in the air, surrounded by cloud.
Rusalka
Water Nymph
Obviously, for Rusalka, I chose Water. She can control water and shoot them from her hand. Then, her main skill is inspired from one of her many tales, one of them being that she strangles men with her hair to kill them, but in this redesign, I made Rusalka strangle them with water instead.
In my redesign, I chose to depict her to have a fish tail instead of a legs, hair adorned by moss, fins by her hands and ear, and pieces of clothing on her arms while sitting by the lake, waiting for a victim to come by.
Leshy
Forest Guardian
For Leshy, as he’s a forest guardian, he can heal anyone with his skill, yet he can also restrain and damage anyone whose not respectful to the forest with his vines.
This redesign uses a deer skull aproach instead of human head, green hair across his arm with some kind of wood brace, and wooden legs and body adorned with moss and mushroom.
Kikimora
House Spirit
Kikimora can attack by throwing rocks and hitting it with her broom. One of her skill is bringing a big boulder to the ground, akin to a meteor, and as a rock controller, she has an advantage to make it as a shield as one of her skill.
Her appearence depicted with her traditional design, with a color tweak to suit her element, and a red accent on her head scarf.
Koschei
The Deathless
As he is a sorcerer, I chose the fire element for him. First skill he has is bringing a fiery sword to kill his opponent while his second skill is more passive, burning heart where the opponent that got hit by this may lose their health every few seconds in a period of time.
He has a crown on top of his skull head, thin body, red cloak and a red skirt, and fire around his surrounding.
Baba Yaga
Old Witch of the Woods
For Baba Yaga I cant think any element better for her aside from poison since she is a witch. She can either throw healing potions, or use her deathly poison to kill her enemy.
Like Kikimora, Baba Yaga is depicted with her traditional appearance, mortar and a pestle, a broom, black cat sidekick, with a potion bottle addition to my redesign. Her background is mainly striking pink and green to show her radioactive — poisonous — deathly vibe.
