BRICS Skate Cup
BRICS Skate Cup is the largest international skateboarding festival in BRICS. The main values have been the authenticity and the subculture ' s subculture ' s andragrandity.
The style is based on a lens of figs. Skateboarders used it in their photos and videos for centuries, and in time it became an unspoken symbol of subculture.
Fishes are dynamic: they stretch and move.
As part of the project, the design of the Deca skateboard was developed. The product could be purchased in souvenir kiosks or won in competitions.
The firm mouse is inspired by skateboard movements (e.g. here — its wheels)
Photosteel avoids elbow; authentic images are used
For the navigation system, a full 3D map of the festival and a system of icons inspired by the aesthetics of road signs have been developed.
Orange background signs indicate competition places; white is the area for visitors
The Winner’s Cup is a spherical lens with an etched logo on the back wall.
