The exhibition project <laquo; Sun from left side» is dedicated to the image of the house as a place where it was once good, but something has changed, it’s broken. There’s a dominant memory here, in something that intervened and proved it, but not reworked completely.


The exhibition center — documentary about my family. The family appears in the the film is not in the species of specific people bound by affinity, and as a general image: this is how the universal is expressed through personal expression. I want to reflect the feeling of incoherence, horror, and the awkwardness of the outside world and the hustling of a foreign home, where I’m you’re running on the the threshold.

This film is a collage of video notes that I filmed in hometown before leaving for a little while. I wanted to take a look at the familiar faces, landscapes and events with the camera to capture images that are as vague as in the dream. The film is complemented by objects inspired by images from stories written by road to home and home. They’re — silent stories rhyming with each other with friend and creating an extra layer of untold stories.

«fly» series
In work done in cyanotype technique, Baikal ice and the piggyback plane connects in one painting. In my hometown has resumed the work of the Defense Department and now planes fly very often over the roofs. I can imagine how huge and sombre they can be over houses, and how small and how lonely they can be over Baikal’s ice.
«Loop-up rope» facility

«Message»
A phone call that has no voice and faces become a symbol of unspeakability, attempts to connect, but in it is a risk to remain misunderstood. Focus is directed at the phone sounds that become distant, as if echo from the past or impossible place.
