Concept: Inspired by a lot of historical Russian attributes, I wanted to create a work that could have the so-called «Russian code» in it. Sunflower is one of my most favorite tapestries.
This work combines the sunflower flower itself, in which a girl in a traditional Russian kerchief grows. Sunflower is the plant that I perceive as a native Russian flower, so I used it in the tapestry. A girl in a traditional Russian kerchief is the highlight of the work, which focuses all attention on herself. Smoothly flowing stems complement the composition of this pattern, and the facial expression attracts the viewer with its funny grimaces.
The background was designed with a special weave in order to achieve a spectacular position of the illustration in the picture.
This tapestry will be a wonderful accent in the interior of any institution with a Russian theme. It will perfectly fit into such furniture and decor items as Poufs, pillows or even wooden stools.

Concept: The prism is also a pattern that I was inspired by the concept of «Russian code». Folk painting has always inspired us since childhood. Every time I came across any object decorated with folk paintings, I wanted to create my own, which would completely describe me as a second. At the same time, preserving a piece of the Russian people.
This work is a tapestry that combines two colors that are opposite in nature: red and blue. Red is the perseverance and beauty of Russia, and blue is peace and freedom. The flexible shape of the blue flowers and stems combined with the decorated red berries perfectly complement each other, creating smoothness and completeness.
The work «Prism» was created with a certain musical accompaniment, which also allowed me to fully reveal the full range of emotions that I was experiencing at the time of developing this pattern.
This tapestry will fit perfectly in the form of: curtains, cushion covers, armchairs and sofas.
