A wide range of horse-based sports. They include horseback riding, carriage racing, dressage, and certain games, such as horseball. Polo, one of the world's oldest games, is sometimes considered a separate sport. The Olympic equestrian program now includes show jumping, dressage, and eventing (also known as three-day eventing or horse trials).
